FEATURES
KWIK-BUILD PANELS is a load bearing, panelized building system which combines the structural attributes of steel with the exceptional insulation properties of closed cell Expanded Polystyrene (EPS). Modified for fire prevention, the Expanded Polystyrene is bonded to galvanized double steel frames to produce durable, almost indestructible panels.
The single-component panels replace traditional framing, insulation and sheathing, while providing a moisture, vapor and air barrier system. The proprietary technology offers excellent climate control and acoustic performance. Panels may be installed vertically as bearing exterior and/or interior walls, or horizontally as floors and roofs.
- They come in 4-foot widths by 8 to 12-foot lengths made from 24 to 14-gauge steel, customized to individual design and engineering specifications.
- For applications that exceed 12’, panels are staggered to meet their lengths.
- They can be modified to meet most conditions, from taller walls to radius openings, from single to four-stories or as cladding for high-rise structures.
- A standard 4’ x 8’ panel weighs about 45 pounds - roughly 80 % lighter than a similar-sized conventional building unit, yet, is 2 ½ times stronger.
- Door and window rough openings and chase ways for electrical conduits, are incorporated during the manufacturing process.
- Long service life with little or no maintenance is a key performance advantage.
- Panels are non-allergenic and resistant to mold, rot, mildew and termite infestations - particularly important in areas with high humidity.
PRECISON QUALITY ASSURANCE
Factory-controlled manufacturing produces consistently predictable results, from conception to construction, with no deviation in quality. Each panel is inspected, measured and labeled, warranteed against defects at time of shipment.
